Glimmer
Some pieces come from the hand. This one came from the heart.
I painted it for someone I love — and for what she carries. I let myself feel everything while I worked: the chaos, the anger, the breaking, and then, somewhere inside all of it, the beauty. I reached for bright colors on purpose, because there is a part of her that is free and loving and luminous, even with so much built up behind her.
There is a rainbow through it. It smudged while I was painting — and I left it that way, because the most real beauty rarely arrives unbroken. To me it became a glimmer: of beauty, of hope, of life again.
I prayed over it, and then I gave it to her.
— Huntress
This piece was painted for a single person, and a single story. If you carry something — a love, a loss, a hope — that you'd like held in paint, she would be honored to create yours.
Every piece carries a story.
Some are for sale, some were made for one person alone — but each one began with a feeling she couldn't set down any other way. Yours could be next.
